The candidate will engage in department and university service (e.g., advising students, serving on department or university committees).<br> <br> <b>Qualifications</b><br> <br> A Ph.D. in psychology or a related field as well as experience teaching at the university level are required.<br> <br> Preferred requirements include evidence of past or potential excellence in teaching psychology courses, experience and potential for excellence in supervising undergraduate research projects, as well as strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.<br> <br> Applicants should be able to teach core courses in areas such as clinical or abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology, physiological psychology, learning, or research methodology.<br> <br> Current areas of expertise in the department include health psychology, neuroscience, physiological psychology, computational science, affective science, social psychology, human sexuality, gender and other identities, abnormal and clinical psychology, human development and aging, discrimination and bias, and positive psychology. We welcome faculty whose area of expertise adds to or complements current areas of strength in our faculty.
