BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

WFP Jordan Country Office (JOCO) is planning to relocate its office premises in Amman from its current location to a new facility. • Support tender processes, as per WFP manuals and standards.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation on site of the project in accordance with WFP specifications, relevant international standards and the project contract.
  • Perform day-to-day site supervision of the contractor's activities, ensuring adherence to design requirements, construction specifications, safety, quality, and environment and social management plans.
  • Review and validate the contractor's detailed designs, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and as-built documentation, ensuring technical correctness and compliance with project specifications and structures code standards.
