This is a teaching-focused appointment for an educator and practitioner who is passionate about preparing the next generation of civil engineers through high-quality instruction, mentorship, and engagement with professional practice.

We seek candidates with expertise and professional experience in water resources engineering and a demonstrated commitment to student success. The successful candidate will primarily support the undergraduate curriculum in water resources, fluid mechanics, and related areas of civil engineering. Candidates who can also contribute to the department’s senior capstone design course and curricular efforts related to professionalism, communication, ethics, and engineering practice are especially encouraged to apply.

Our program places exceptional value on teaching excellence. We are looking for a faculty member who can connect with students, create engaging learning environments, and effectively bridge engineering theory and professional practice. The ability to inspire, mentor, and support undergraduate students is a central expectation of this position.

The clinical faculty will advise and mentor students at all undergraduate levels toward the successful completion of their degree and help them develop career readiness. The clinical faculty will participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and professional organizations in civil engineering to stay connected with industry advancements.
