Wages
Annual Salary : 4 million yen ~ 5 million yen
325,360 JPY – 385,626 JPY. (Determined on the basis of the applicant’s experience and abilities)
Deemed overtime allowance is included in the monthly salary (Article 13-2 of the Salary Regulations for Fixed Term Employees).
There is no regular salary increase system. However, the salary may be revised upon contract renewal.
Working hours
Working hours :08:30-17:15
Break time :12:00-13:00
Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, New Year Holidays, annual paid leave and other holidays as stipulated in the Working Regulations.
Overtime and other explanations : The discretionary labor system is applicable. Under this system, the deemed working hours are set at 8 hours and 15 minutes per day.

Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field by the start date of employment.
Work experience
Preference will be given to candidates with skills and experience in research related to thin film growth, microfabrication, device analysis, or surface/interface physics, and to those who have an interest in wide bandgap semiconductors (such as SiC, GaN, and diamond) and two-dimensional materials (such as graphene and hexagonal boron nitride).

Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations.Probationary period present

Transportation expenses : Provided (if the one-way commuting distance is 2 km or more. There is an upper limit to the amount paid.)

Others : Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Worker’s Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements.
