Job Description
- Attend meetings and document new story opportunities
- Serve as the newsroom “go to” person on computational storytelling
- Research, collect, and organize data to enhance products and services
- Provide support to editors and other newsroom leaders on assets with a numeracy component.
- Assist students with scheduling and publishing their work
- Assist with communication between different desks and outlets
Shift
8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Newsroom experience
- Familiarity with coding and computational analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams
- Strong communication skills
Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Salary: $16.00 per hour
