SALARY:
$63,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience and Faculty rank, at .50 FTE. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials. The RVU Rank and Promotions Committee will determine rank of any finalist.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver curriculum for nurse anesthesia courses following program objectives and accreditation standards.
- Supervise and mentor nurse anesthesia students in both clinical and academic settings, ensuring high standards of care and learning.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including but not limited to research, publications, and presentations in the field of nurse anesthesia.
- Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts to meet and exceed accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and academic staff to promote an interdisciplinary approach to anesthesia education.
- Stay abreast of current trends, techniques, and advancements in nurse anesthesia practice and education.
- Participate in the assessment or evaluation of and provide feedback to other members of the faculty as a portion of the college’s ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
- Attend DNAP Program faculty meetings, retreats, and accreditation-related events.
- Responsible for helping the students select their topic and prepare doctoral work.
- Attends a minimum of one state or national nurse anesthesia meetings yearly.
- Participate in DNAP admissions interviewing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned and supporting the mission of the program and the university.
- Maintains an active clinical practice.
