Position Summary
The School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo is seeking applications for a Clinical Procurement Account Clerk. The clinical procurement account clerk is responsible for:
- Managing the procurement inventory, receiving, and distribution of clinical supplies, instruments, and equipment to support patient care and educational activities across all units.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing, inventory, reconciliation, and quality control records to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Supporting students, residents, faculty, and staff by coordinating clinical, preclinical, and dental lab supply needs and resolving ordering issues.
- Coordinating vendor relationships, including order placement, delivery tracking, laboratory work orders, and billing inquiries.
- Providing operational and administrative support through training activities, meetings, process improvement recommendations, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing various technological tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical dental experience.
- Confidential, professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a higher education setting and a healthcare facility preferred.
Physical Demands
Salary Range
$45,000 - $55,000
