- A doctoral degree awarded by the time of the commencement of employment (or an equivalent qualification can be considered).
- An applicant of any nationality can be considered. It is desirable for candidates to possess sufficient communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Residence in Kanazawa or surrounding cities after employment.

Professor level: Tenured - Non-tenure track. Probationary period present. Trail period 6 months.

Lecturer level: Nontenured - Non-tenure track. The term of lecturer is set for 5 years at the time of employment. (If you are currently working at our university and work continuously, the total term of office, from the current term to the next term, cannot exceed 10 years.)
