Experiencing phenomenal growth, Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With over 22,000 students and 1,200 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in Communication (in the areas of broadcast and journalism, media and communication studies, new media and TV, or other related communication areas) to begin in Spring 2027. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a related discipline, or anticipate completion by December 2026. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of leading drama clubs.
Ideally candidates should have a track record in related industry experiences, and/or refereed publications and strong potential to advance research. The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package – including free housing, health insurance, schooling, retirement contribution, and more – will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy. To receive full consideration, candidates need to submit a cover letter, CV, and research statement by email to: c.j@wzbc.edu.cn
