JOB SUMMARY

The School of Cybersecurity and Privacy (SCP) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), located in Atlanta, GA, invites applications for multiple tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor). We seek exceptional candidates in all areas of Cybersecurity and Privacy, as well as candidates exploring emerging or interdisciplinary topics at the boundaries of these fields. In addition to building an active research program in these areas, successful candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and perform service roles across the school, college, and Institute.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants are required to have (or expected to receive before start of appointment) a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cognitive Science and Psychology, Law, Public Policy, Political Science and International Relations, Business, or a related field. Applicants are encouraged to clearly identify in their cover letter the area or areas that best describe their research contributions.

• The ability to teach and mentor a multifaceted student body.
• The ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education.
• The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success.
• The ability to apply expertise in teaching, scholarship, and/or service to advance student success.

The school's work is both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary, and joint appointments are possible for interested candidates. Current faculty hold joint appointments with other schools in the College of Computing, College of Engineering, Scheller College of Business, School of Public Policy, and Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
