Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support building-related projects through the project lifecycle from inception through to handover and soft landing. These projects are often numerous, but of relatively low value (in construction terms) and will on occasion be fully led and managed by the role holder. This is an additional role for a small team, and the successful applicant needs to understand and be able to respond to the dynamic demands that construction and improvements project delivery requires.
The successful applicant will be joining us at a very exciting time for the Department, with this role being key to the delivery of the Department’s strategic plans in support of its world recognised academic excellence. This is a permanent position.

The effectiveness of the role is likely to be directly linked the organisational and communication skills, together with a project management mindset and technical construction comprehension of the individual.
