Position Summary & Description
The Department of Art and Design at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applicants for anticipated part-time, temporary faculty position(s) of Gallery Director for the Spring 2027 semester.
The department seeks candidates whose research, and/or service has prepared them to contribute to IUP’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
Position Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of a master’s degree in visual art discipline or related field.
- The ability to be on campus for in-person events all semester.
- Experience with art handling and gallery installation.
- Organization, communication, and budgeting skills.
Essential Functions
Perform the physical requirements of laboratory, field work, studio work, or other activities outside typical classroom instruction if applicable.
