Consider the relevance of that experience to the Real Estate Program and the applicant's demonstrated professional accomplishments.
  • Industry Relationships and Professional Network: Evaluate the applicant's established relationships with real estate professionals, firms, developers, investors, professional associations, and other industry participants. Consider the potential to leverage those relationships to create internships, mentorship opportunities, networking events, and career pathways for students.
  • Teaching, Mentoring, and Student Development: Evaluate the applicant's demonstrated experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or professional development. Consider the ability to communicate complex real estate concepts, engage students, and help prepare students for successful careers in the industry
  • Program Leadership and Curriculum Development: Evaluate the applicant's experience leading programs, initiatives, projects, or professional organizations. Consider demonstrated organizational skills, strategic thinking, curriculum development experience, and the ability to provide direction and continuity to a developing academic program.
  • Communication, Collaboration, and Engagement: Evaluate the applicant's communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues, industry professionals, and other stakeholders. Consider experience organizing professional events, working across teams, and building productive relationships.

  • Minimum of ten years of professional experience in real estate (development, investment, brokerage, finance, or a closely related area).
  • Demonstrated network of industry contacts, with the ability to bring those relationships to benefit the program.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage students, faculty, and industry professionals.
  • Experience organizing events, workshops, or professional development activities.

  • Student engagement, classroom management, and learning evaluation.
  • Curriculum development, measurable outcomes, and assessment alignment.
  • Approaches to program building, student recruitment, and enrollment growth.

  • Recruiting students and growing program enrollment, visibility, and reputation.
  • Advising/mentoring students and supporting career development; using and teaching AI-enabled tools responsibly.
