You will oversee data collection and validation, co-ordinate research activities and manage the Hub’s contributions to the Oxford Electrification Accelerator, working closely with colleagues across the University.
Your research will focus on electricity market design, regulation and power-sector decarbonisation, developing methodologies and analysing complex policy and regulatory data to inform new research and publications. You will bring specialist knowledge of electricity systems, energy and electricity market regulation and/or power-sector decarbonisation, including an understanding of different jurisdictions relevant to the Monitor’s global scope. You will be confident working with large, complex policy and regulatory datasets and have strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to manage your own research and competing priorities.
You will have experience contributing to research publications or presentations, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
