This is a great opportunity to apply your broad experience across organisational development while contributing to programmes and processes that support colleagues across Brunel.
You will join a team with opportunities to contribute ideas, develop your skills and help us continuously improve our OD services across learning and development, induction, wellbeing, EDI, colleague engagement and University-wide projects.
Working across the OD and EDI teams, you will provide customer focused, high-quality administrative and operational support, helping to ensure that programmes, systems, communications and activities run smoothly and provide a positive experience for colleagues.
You will play a key role in bringing learning and colleague support to life: organising learning and development programmes, activities and events; coordinating colleague induction and onboarding; supporting completion of mandatory training; and supporting and organising wellbeing and engagement activities.
As the first point of contact for colleagues’ and managers’ day-to-day queries, you will answer enquiries, coordinate bookings and enrolments, maintain accurate learning records, and prepare communications and resources, alongside producing routine reports and management information.
You will also support the administration of Oracle and Brunel’s learning systems, providing data and reports, and help review, align and improve administrative processes as we transition to a new Oracle Learning and Talent System.
About you
You bring administrative or coordination experience in a busy, complex environment, strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
You confidently work with information and data, use Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and are willing to learn new digital and AI tools and ways of working.
Experience with HR or learning systems, learning and development administration, or higher education is an advantage.
Above all, you are proactive, dependable and well organised, bringing a customer-focused, responsive approach and a commitment to accurate, high-quality service. Comfortable working with people, systems and data, you are collaborative and supportive, and keen to identify ways to improve how we work.
We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.
Closing date for applications: 15th November 2026
Interviews will take place week commencing 23rd November 2026, in person.
