- Annual salary and start-up packageTsinghua SIGS will provide a highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. A research start-up package will also be provided for qualified faculty.
- Student and postdoctoral recruitmentEach faculty member may supervise up to three full-time doctoral students per year, and a competitive salary package will be provided for post-doctoral researchers recruited by faculty members.

Qualifications
- A doctoral or equivalent degree in a relevant academic area is required.
- Postdoctoral research experience or at least two years of working experience at a university or research institute is normally required.
- Research experience across various fields and institutions and strong teaching performance are preferred.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong communication, teaching and leadership skills in English as well as the ability to actively contribute to the rapidly growing research efforts at Tsinghua SIGS.
- A strong commitment to teaching and supervising postgraduate students is essential. Teaching responsibilities will include participation in and development of graduate courses and strong engagement with Tsinghua SIGS’s core curriculum. Supervision of PhD and MSc students and academic mentoring of trainees at all levels is also expected.

About us
Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) is a public graduate education institution jointly established by Tsinghua University and the Shenzhen Municipal Government against the backdrop of national efforts to deepen higher education reform and promote the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
SIGS was founded as an expansion and integration of the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University (established in 2001), and the Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI, established in 2014). It was officially unveiled on March 29, 2019. It prioritizes the development of first-class engineering disciplines at Tsinghua University, complemented by the Innovation Management discipline, in line with Tsinghua's development strategy and the industry demands of Shenzhen.
In 2025, we successfully recruited the distinguished international scholar in nanoscience and chemistry, Professor Charles M. Lieber, a member of five U.S. National Academies and a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Looking ahead to 2030, our goal is to establish a n international faculty team .
