About Role
The successful candidate will be part of the Portering and Postal Services Team and be required to provide a high service to Queen Mary’s buildings, such office and furniture move, bulky waste removal, dealing with couriers and other porterage and postal duties always looking to deliver a professional and customer focused service to staff, students, and visitors.
About You
Applicants should hold GCSE English or equivalent and have a good command of the English language both written and verbally. You will be required to be able to carry out manual handling tasks and good customer communication and care skills. This role requires experience working as part of a customer-focused team and knowledge of health and safety practices in relation to portering and postal tasks

The Estates and Facilities Directorate is one of the largest departments within Queen Mary, University of London and is committed to supporting and promoting student wellbeing at the university and providing the highest standards of estates and facilities across the university, preparing and helping to sustain the university’s working and learning environmental for students, staff, stakeholders and guests by ensuring safe environments, security and cleanliness.
