As a Lecturer in Adult Nursing, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality nursing education through teaching, scholarship, professional practice, and leadership activities. Working within the School of Nursing and Midwifery, you will play a key role in supporting student success, enhancing learning experiences, and contributing to the strategic ambitions of both the School and the University. You will support students throughout their learning journey by providing academic guidance, pastoral support, supervision, and assessment. You will also contribute to the design and development of innovative, inclusive, and flexible learning resources for both synchronous and asynchronous delivery.

As a valued member of the academic team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and undertake leadership responsibilities, including module leadership and other academic roles as appropriate. You will also be encouraged to engage in scholarly activity, research, knowledge exchange, and professional engagement that enhances nursing education and healthcare practice.

We welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time, part-time, or job-share arrangements.

Although based at our Plymouth campus, occasional travel to our Exeter and Truro sites may be required.
