Overview

The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University (QU Netter) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Medical Sciences, the School’s integrated basic science department, with expertise in Neuroscience or Neurology. The successful candidate will contribute to the School’s educational, scholarly, and service missions through teaching, curriculum leadership, student advising and mentorship, scholarly activity, and institutional service.

The Department of Medical Sciences is home to core faculty who lead, design, and deliver the integrated, systems-based pre-clerkship curriculum. Across Years 1 and 2, Foundations of Medicine (FOM), Clinical Arts and Sciences (CAS), and Scholarly Reflection and Concentration Capstone (SRCC) integrate foundational medical sciences, clinical skills, and scholarly development. The faculty member will provide leadership in neuroscience or neurology within FOM and contribute to CAS and SRCC according to their expertise and departmental needs.

QU Netter is a community-based medical school with an extensive network of hospital, community health, and health system partnerships across the state and region. As the School enters its second decade, this position is part of a coordinated period of faculty renewal that builds on the strong educational foundation established by its founding faculty. The role offers an opportunity to shape the continued evolution of the School’s integrated curriculum and educational programs while collaborating with colleagues across basic and clinical disciplines. We seek a dedicated educator-scholar committed to student success, scholarly inquiry, service, and the advancement of a learner-centered academic community.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefits-eligible, on-ground position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Salary range is $100,000 to $170,000 commensurate with degree type (PhD or MD/DO), qualifications, academic rank and experience.
