This doctoral training centre, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), is a collaboration between the Universities of Bristol and Bath.</p>\n<p>We are looking to recruit a Centre Manager. Working with the Director of the CDT, the CDT Manager will take responsibility for the administrative running of the Centre, making key decisions when necessary to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Centre including strategic and operational planning; managing Centre finances; liaison with external partners including funding bodies; administering student records and processes through to graduation; providing support to postgraduate students; event management; public engagement and impact activities.</p>\n<p>You will have relevant experience, for example within Higher Education administration or research, excellent organisation and management skills; the ability to plan and prioritise workloads and to meet multiple fixed deadlines. You will have budgetary experience, and will possess strong numeracy, IT and communication skills in English. Additionally, you should be able to manage a varied portfolio of requests and be able to work independently with a high level of self-motivation.</p>\n<p>The post is part-time, 17.5 hours per week and funding is available for 2.5 years.
