{"job":{"jobId":1209344,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":1834,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Postdoctoral Fellow Battery Systems and Optical Sensor Development and Investigation","description":"\n\n<p><strong>About the position</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to take on testing of lithium-based batteries and supercapacitors, their ageing aspects and use of optical sensors as one of several diagnostics tools.</p>\n\n\n<p>The position targets ageing of lithium batteries (LiB) and lithium capacitor (LiC) systems.</p>\n\n\n<p>The work is experimentally focused by its nature, and includes testing and investigation using optical sensors into commercial battery backs intended for the automotive and power electronic applications.</p>\n\n\n<p>The Head of Department is Professor Terese Løvås. You will report to Professor Odne Burheim.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Duties of the position</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Research tasks in alignment with the research proposal</li>\n<li>LiB and LiC testing</li>\n<li>Optical sensor development and implementation</li>\n<li>Supervision of Master`s thesis students and Bachelor`s thesis students</li>\n<li>Teaching tasks, if suited (depending on qualifications and interests)</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required selection criteria</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>A Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is a qualification position in which the main objective is qualification for work in academic positions. From the salary, 2% is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.</p>\n\n\n<p>The engagement is to be made in accordance with the regulations in force concerning State Employees and Civil Servants, and the acts relating to Control of the Export of Strategic Goods, Services and Technology. Candidates who by assessment of the application and attachment are seen to conflict with the criteria in the latter law will be prohibited from recruitment to NTNU.
