{"job":{"jobId":1209794,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":465,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Project Coordinator","description":"\n\n<p><strong>Job-Specific Responsibilities</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>This Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for performing a range of study tasks in the GenoVA Study, a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded clinical trial of genomic testing for disease susceptibility at Harvard Medical School at Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System (VABHS). The candidate performs high-level research duties for this study, which is recruiting participants across eight VABHS sites. The PC performs research-related tasks under the supervision of the study Principal Investigator (PI) and the study Project Manager (PM).</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the daily operations of the GenoVA Study, escalating research-related queries to the PM and/or PI when appropriate</li>\n<li>Perform participant recruitment tasks such as performing initial eligibility screening, preparing and distributing participant recruitment materials, and obtaining informed consent</li>\n<li>Interact with patients and the VA laboratory staff to facilitate participant blood draws and specimen collection</li>\n<li>Assist in the tracking and shipment of participant specimens</li>\n<li>Assist in study data collection, including the administration of baseline and end-of-study participant surveys</li>\n<li>Prepare letters and accompanying materials for patients and their primary care providers (PCPs)</li>\n<li>Assist with the entry of genetic test results in patient medical records</li>\n<li>Assist in the distribution of participation incentives</li>\n<li>Assist in the drafting and formatting of IRB and other regulatory documents including the study protocol, informed consent forms, and other documents related to human subjects research</li>\n<li>Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li>\n<li>Prepare materials for project meetings with the PI, PM, local study staff, and other collaborators</li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation and delivery of project reports</li>\n<li>Prepare literature reviews</li>\n<li>Assist in the creation and formatting of research posters and presentations</li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of research manuscripts</li>\n<li>Perform all other duties/responsibilities as needed by the PI and/or PM</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>College degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the field of specific research study (relevant coursework may count towards experience)</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Qualifications</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in health sciences-related field, including but not limited to medicine, nursing, public health, biostatistics/epidemiology, or psychology preferred</li>\n<li>At least one or more years of experience in clinical research or direct patient contact preferred</li>\n<li>VA experience preferred</li>\n<li>Computer literacy: Adobe, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
