The purpose of this position, funded by the Kay Kendall Leukaemia Fund ([www.kklf.org.uk][1]), is to perform high quality laboratory experiments to study the mechanisms by which B cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) cells escape B cell receptor signalling inhibitor therapy using primary patient cells. The available project is at the intersection of immunology and cancer and affinity with at least one of these fields is essential. The project involves super resolution imaging of B cell receptor complexes, large scale multicolor fluorescent imaging, functional assays and flow cytometry of primary CLL cells and CLL cell lines. Experience with these techniques and imaging data analysis would be highly advantageous.\n\nThe work will mainly take place in The Rayne Institute on Denmark Hill campus under direct supervision of Dr Hoogeboom. The post holder is expected to work independently in the lab. The post holder will be encouraged to provide intellectual input into the experimental design and direction of the project. They are expected to analyse and report data and present findings at local and (inter-)national meetings.\n[1]: http://www.kklf.org.uk\n\nThis is a full time fixed-term contract for 18 months.</p>\n\n\n","pdfUrl1":null,"location":"London (Central), London (Greater) (GB)","location1":"유럽","location2":null,"location3":null,"type":"2","applyUrl":"https://jobs.kcl.ac.uk/gb/en/job/003925/Research-Associate","fileUrl1":null,"fileUrl2":null,"fileUrl3":null,"fileUrl4":null,"fileUrl5":null,"fileUrl6":null,"fileUrl7":null,"workingHour":"Full Time","contractType":"Fixed Term","salary":"£38,304 Per Annum, Including London Weighting","original_id":"UNI|222763","original_domain":"https://www.timeshighereducation.com/unijobs","original_url":"https://www.timeshighereducation.com/unijobs/listing/222763/research-associate/?LinkSource=PremiumListing","original_isPremium":"true","closeType":2,"closedAt":null,"requireEducation":0,"managerTel":"","managerFax":null,"managerEmail":null,"managerName":"KINGS COLLEGE LONDON","managerPhone":null,"managerAddress":null,"log_hit":2,"log_like":0,"publishState":1,"organizationName":null,"organizationName_en":null,"organizationName_alt":null,"createdAt":"2020-08-25T00:00:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2020-09-18T12:00:40.000Z"},"organization":{"organizationId":494,"lv1Id":null,"lv2Id":null,"name":"King’s College London","name_en":"King's College London","name_alt":",King’s College London,KINGS COLLEGE LONDON,","introduction":"<p>King’s is a leading university providing world-class teaching and cutting-edge research.
