Will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to curate, develop, and enhance best practices in course delivery; develop and integrate effective technology-based tools and applications; and steward action learning (AL) data. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships to engage and build upon the community of AL practitioners; partnering with vendors to build or adapt value-added products and services to support teaching teams with course delivery; assessing, recommending, and overseeing implementation of technology platforms/applications; stewarding AL data in support of fund-raising and alumni engagement, generating student and host interest, and raising the profile of the school; collaborating with, advising, and gaining consensus among faculty to develop performance measures; and representing ALO to a wide variety of audiences.\n\nA full job description is available at http://web.mit.edu/sloan-hr/jobs/AssociateDirectorALO.pdf.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>\n\n\n<p><strong><em>REQUIRED</em>: </strong> bachelor’s degree in education, educational technology, or a STEM field; three years’ related experience; excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to quickly assess and learn new technologies and support the culture of innovation and experimentation; experience leading/working collaboratively with diverse constituencies; meticulous attention to detail; self-direction; and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging work environment with shifting priorities. </p>\n\n\n<p><strong><em>PREFERRED</em>: </strong>experience in or understanding of the student experience in a project-based learning environment, experience leading technology projects and managing virtual student experiences, proficiency with relational databases (or ability to quickly learn), ability to organize and manage large amounts of structured/unstructured data, and experience with surveys and assessment of learning outcomes. <strong>Job #18949-8</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>MIT is an equal employment opportunity employer.
