Plans multidisciplinary clinical meetings and liaisons with all sites. Develops multi-disciplinary training materials; coordinates training video production; conducts training and monitoring of site staff at participating centers. Provides clinical review and follow-up on all data and adverse events. Coordinates subject enrollment and eligibility, data collection and quality control in keeping with study protocols; liaisons with data coordinating center. Prepares regulatory and technical progress reports; drafts articles for publication; prepares data summaries.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>MSN with 3-5 yrs. experience in pediatric critical care and research or Advanced Practice Nurse in Critical Care or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience managing clinical trials or a large research project, e.g. NIH study needed. Clinical expertise with current knowledge of sedation and mechanical ventilation required. Solid presentation skills needed. Knowledge of IRB coordination and pediatric regulatory compliance issues preferred. </p>\n\n\n<p>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels in a fast paced environment using sound judgment and organizational savvy. Excellent writing skills essential. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with initiative and a results orientation. Must be a collaborative team player with the ability to work both independently and as part of a research team in partnership with PI and clinical coordinating center. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines essential. Strong PC related skills in MS Office and related database management. Prior supervisory experience needed. Some domestic travel to train at collaborating sites.
