{"job":{"jobId":1212268,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":466,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Program Administrator","description":"\n\n<p><strong>Position Focus:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>The Program Administrator will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of study planning and data collection and management for complex women’s health research projects involving human subjects. The Yale Clinical Research Site is part of the NIH/NIDDK funded Prevention of Lower Urinary tract Symptoms (PLUS) Research Consortium, which aims to plan and carry out the research needed to inform future prevention and intervention studies for Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) in women and girls.</p>\n\n\n<p>Serves as primary contact for and liaison between multiple study and project stakeholders, including University affiliates (the research staff, principal investigator, relevant University departments), as well as external partners (non-Yale collaborators, funding organizations, clinical study staff, administrators). Contributes to study design including protocol and procedures. Apply a high level of knowledge of University’s Institutional Review Board procedures and protocols and ensures compliance with established study protocol and adheres to human subjects regulations.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Duties</strong></p>\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>In support of the overall mission, plans, directs and oversees programmatic activities.</li>\n<li>Develops, implements, and maintains operational policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Manages program communications; identifies outreach potential, and promotes philanthropic and collaborative support of the program.</li>\n<li>Works closely with leadership, internal and external colleagues, and community residents to further develop and implement strategic plans.</li>\n<li>Identifies, solicits, and cultivates community partnerships and collaborations to assist in the development and growth of the program.</li>\n<li>Tracks all program activities and regularly informs leadership of progress on each initiative. Recommends structural or programmatic adjustments, changes or additions based on full knowledge of missions, goals, and objectives. Develops metrics to identify and measure the success of the program.</li>\n<li>Assists in identifying and evaluating potential future funding sources, and contributes to the submission of grants and contracts supporting the program, including the annual submission and writing of all content areas and budgetary sections of grant applications.</li>\n<li>Develops and manages the program's operating budget.</li>\n<li>Manages the administrative infrastructure of the program. Manages human resources including staffing and hiring, supervision, performance development, counseling and discipline, if warranted. Oversees and manages information systems, facilities, and space needs.</li>\n<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ol>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skill/Ability 1:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Experience with recruitment, retention and scheduling of study participants.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skill/Ability 2:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Demonstrated ability of financial recordkeeping and expense reporting.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skill/Ability 3:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Proven ability to oversee study procedures and manage clinical data.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skill/Ability 4:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Experience with IRB approval guidelines and other regulatory procedures.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skill/Ability 5:</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>Demonstrated experience with local community engagement outreach and events.
