The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme helps businesses to innovate and grow through the aid of discipline specific academic expertise. It does this by linking them with an academic supervisory team and a researcher in a university to work on a specific project.\n\nWorking alongside the MODUS Operations Team, the KTP Associate will be involved in a strategic project to develop, trial and launch enhanced Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) capabilities using advanced AI to achieve higher levels of machine autonomy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain an extensive knowledge of the current state-of-the-art in deep learning techniques in object recognition and anomaly detection and have to opportunity to collaborate with leading industrial partners of MODUS to apply these techniques for underwater survey and inspection.\n\nMODUS is a specialist global provider of mission critical subsea vehicles and managed services for inspection, intervention, trenching, survey and construction support.
