Fixed Term for up to 17 months </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Applications are invited for the post of Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Social Work. The Department of Social Work is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences, alongside the Departments of Economics, Politics, International Relations and Philosophy, and Law and Criminology. We are forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active. We offer undergraduate programmes in Social Science, together with Masters programmes in Social Work and Advanced Practice and a PG Dip Programme on Step Up to Social Work. We are also home to an energetic postgraduate research student community. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We seek an outstanding individual to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The Senior Teaching Fellow post is 0.5 FTE and will take a leading role in the management of the professional placements on our MSc Social Work programme. The position includes teaching across our different programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching experience in skills for social workers and readiness for practice. We also expect leadership and an effective contribution to programme or department administration or projects improving the student experience. We would be willing to consider candidates interested in a secondment opportunity. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The fixed term post is available from March 2022 or soon thereafter and is based in both our Campus at 11 Bedford Square, London and in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We offer a vibrant and supportive environment where we have a strong research culture and very good links with a range of professional agencies and local authorities.
