Integral to these activities is a growing portfolio in systems biology and complex data analytics. We are based in the award winning <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/2011/05/life-sciences-building-wins-prestigious-riba-award.page\" rel=\"no-follow\">Life Sciences Building</a> with <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.southampton.ac.uk/biosci/research/facilities.page\" rel=\"no-follow\">state-of-the-art facilities</a> and are integral to the <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.southampton.ac.uk/life-sciences/index.page\" rel=\"no-follow\">Institute for Life Sciences</a> which fosters interdisciplinary research. We have laboratories at the University Hospital Southampton and close alliances with the Faculty of Medicine including the newly established <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.southampton.ac.uk/youreit/\" rel=\"no-follow\">Centre for Cancer Immunology</a>. We host the prestigious <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://biofilms.ac.uk/\" rel=\"no-follow\">National Biofilms Innovation Centre</a> and the <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://southcoastbiosciencesdtp.ac.uk/\" rel=\"no-follow\"> BBSRC SoCoBio Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP</a>). You will have expertise in the field of biomedical sciences encompassing biochemistry, immunology, neuroscience and/or pharmacology. \n\n\nLecturer/Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences (3 posts) \n\n\n(Salary:  £39,739 to £65,107).\n\n\n You will have an exciting opportunity to build a long-term internationally competitive research programme that complements existing strengths within the School of Biological Sciences. You may lead on innovation in our education for biomedical sciences, biochemistry, pharmacology and/or neuroscience to develop an impressive academic portfolio.
