We have a global responsibility to provide accurate information to the general public particularly in the areas of health and science, which means effective communications with key audiences is crucial. King’s College London, King’s Health Partners and our NHS partner, the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust have recently begun working more closely together to develop patient and public facing content to prevent illness and promote wellbeing across our population. As Digital Content Producer, you will work across King’s College London, King’s Health Partners and our NHS partner, the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, to plan, produce and promote high-quality videos on key areas in mental health that all three partners can host across their YouTube channels. In producing this content, you will liaise directly with YouTube and adopt their best practice in tagging and optimising the videos to ensure they reach the top of relevant search fields. You will be responsible for working across our partners and experts in mental health and other related areas to explore and strategise how to develop complex information into appropriate public-facing information. You will also be responsible for tracking the performance of video content and our channels, providing detailed analytics, evaluation, and ongoing strategic improvement. In addition, you will further optimise our digital channels, particularly YouTube, by creating a regular stream of relevant and accessible content. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>What you'll need to succeed</strong> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You’ll be a dynamic, driven person with an ability to engage with a range of colleagues, a strong awareness of what makes good YouTube and digital content and excellent digital skills including with Adobe and other software including the latest video technology. To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate success of producing high-quality digital content for YouTube, social media channels and websites. We need a confident self-starter, who works well under pressure and who uses a keen news sense, creativity and initiative to create engaging content. The ability to build effective relationships is essential as this role will work across King’s College London, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the King’s Health Partners central teams.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Contracted up until December 2022 </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">This is a full-time post</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Key responsibilities</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To plan, produce, edit and upload at least 20 videos to YouTube, covering key and specific areas of mental health clinical and academic research and practice. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To take ownership for strategic planning, storyboard and script development, scheduling, directing, location setting, lighting, sound and editing video web content for use on YouTube and other digital channels. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To liaise directly with the team at YouTube to adopt and implement best practice to help ensure that videos are appropriately tagged and amplified in relevant search results. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• With the support of the communications teams, to source suitable film subjects (from among staff at King’s College London and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust) to include in video content and ensure the appropriate approvals are in place for both video subjects and locations. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To develop relationships and work collaboratively with teams across King’s College London, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and King’s Health Partners to identify other areas of health and science that may be useful to create digital content for. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To work with the teams in identifying key external and news opportunities for digital and video content, using YouTube, social media channels and to support press releases. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To maximise the impact of video content online via social media, SEO and other appropriate channels. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">• To analyse and evaluate the success of video content and use the data to influence future work. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><em>The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.</em> </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Skills, knowledge, and experience </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>Essential criteria </strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">1. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">2. Good use of English </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">3. A proven track record of planning, producing and publishing high-quality content across digital channels, in particular in working with YouTube. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">4. Excellent editorial skills and attention to detail. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">5. An ability to comprehend complex situations quickly, providing creative solutions to ensure results are achieved and objectives are met. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">6. A keen news sense and ability to think of creative digital solutions that effectively tap into the latest news agenda and conversations on social media. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">7. A collaborative attitude to work, supporting others and with the ability to build effective links and relationships with a range of stakeholders </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">8. A proactive approach to work, knowing when to work independently and flexibly but also when best to work as part of a team. Enthusiastic self-starter with a positive and determined approach. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">9.
