The Department is supported by two research centres: Centre for Digital Finance, and Centre for Empirical Research in Finance and Banking, where staff are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About you</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">As a lecturer you will play a central role in furthering the research of the banking and finance department. You will bring to the role a strong professional reputation in teaching and research, including the ability to produce world class research through publications in leading academic journals. You may have some experience of research grant activity. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential, as is your ability to engage and inspire students and colleagues alike.
