The positions are based at Aldermoor Health Centre in the Primary Care Research Centre and remote working will also be considered. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The project aims to develop and validate population clusters that consider health and social care determinants and subsequent need for people with multiple long-term conditions (MLTC-M), within several large primary care national databases, and social care datasets. Our research uses data-driven artificial intelligence methods that will be compared to traditional statistical approaches in establishing key biological, psycho-social, economic and environmental variables in the delivery of integrated and tailored health care. This programme of work is funded by the NIHR. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The post-holders will conduct cohort analysis of big data. The successful applicants will be educated to degree level and must have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject (Epidemiology, Medical or Social Statistics, Bioinformatics, Data science or equivalent). You will have advanced epidemiology and statistical skills, experience of carrying out cohort analysis using STATA, M-Plus or R. Previous experience of primary care databases (such as CPRD, SAIL or Q-Research) is essential. </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD.
