This portfolio will subsequently grow to encompass the broad range of disciplines that are also taught at DMU UK.\n\n\nThe Role\n\n\nDMU Dubai campus is recruiting for the position of Head of Dubai Campus. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding leadership position in international higher education. As the Head of the campus you will be responsible for the leadership and management of all academic activities at the DMU Dubai campus. You will play a major role in shaping the strategy and vision whilst contributing in driving the University forwards.  You will work collaboratively with the Pro Vice-Chancellor International and the Vice Chancellor to lead the campus, increase the profile of the University internationally. \n\n\nYou will work closely with academic colleagues in Dubai to build and deliver high quality programmes that give a high-quality experience to students. You will need to build relationships as well with the UK Faculties, the University quality assurance and UK course-based leaders to review and develop the teaching provision, content and course material in Dubai.\n\n\nThe role is on a fixed term contract for 5 years. It is permanently based in Dubai and it is expected that there will be some travel to the UK.\n\n\nThe Ideal Candidate \n\n\nThis role would ideally suit someone who has significant academic leadership experience within the higher education sector. You will have a higher degree and PhD.\n\n\nYou will be an innovative leader that has the ability to inspire, influence and engage with colleagues at all levels and demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to the Universities values and ambitions. You will be flexible in your approach to ensure you respond effectively to change and provide a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
