You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community – and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges. \n\n\nThe successful candidate should have the following:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified to PhD Level (or nearing completion) and extensive professional experience in relevant subject area.</li>\n<li>Relevant Masters Degree</li>\n<li>Professional Healthcare Registration e.g. NMC, HCPC</li>\n<li>BABCP Accreditation or can obtain accreditation by commencement of post</li>\n<li>Relevant Masters Degree</li>\n<li>Post graduate qualification relevant to Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy</li>\n<li>Extensive and sustained experience of education delivery and development in HEI and/ or practice settings</li>\n<li>Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of relevant subject area.</li>\n<li>Extensive experience of relevant subject area practice.</li>\n<li>Experience of student and/or trainee supervision at post-graduate level</li>\n<li>A Teaching qualification or fellowship of Advance HE (previously Higher Education Academy) would be desirable but not essential. \n\t </li>\n</ul>\n\n\nABOUT US\n\n\nUWS was named Higher Educational Institution of the Year in The Herald Higher Education Awards 2022 and is officially ranked by Times Higher Education in the top 600 universities worldwide (2022 World University Rankings) as well as in the top 150 universities worldwide under 50 years old (2022 Young University Rankings).
