The positions are limited until December 31, 2023 with the option of extension within following projects. The period of employment is governed by § 2 (2) Fixed-Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz- WissZeitVG). \n\n\nThe Chair of Systems Engineering is conducting research as part of the EU third-party funded project \"AI SPRINT\" (<a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.ai-sprint-project.eu\" rel=\"no-follow\">www.ai-sprint-project.eu</a>). AI-SPRINT - Artificial Intelligence in Secure PRIvacy-preserving computing continuum - will define a framework for developing AI applications in computing continua, enabling a finely-tuned tradeoff between performance and AI model accuracy, while providing security and privacy guarantees. \n\n\nTasks: Independent research in the field of the chair, especially in the field of cloud computing and confidential computing. In this context, the main research areas include the development of software components within the AI-SPRINT-project. The development, publication and presentation of scientific publications at national and international conferences as well as journals are expected.\n\n\nRequirements: very good university degree (M.Sc., Dipl.) in Computer Science; strong skills in distributed systems; ability to work independently and purposefully in a team; an integrative and cooperative personality with excellent communication and social skills; high engagement; fluency in English - written and oral; interest in interdisciplinary cooperation in all areas of computer science as well as with industrial partners.
