{"job":{"jobId":2460457,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":869,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Special Scientist Researcher, Video Editor and Animator and Graphic Designer","description":"\n\nDEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE \nSPECIAL SCIENTIST (Researcher) POSITION\n\n\nNo. of Position(s): 2 Month Contract\nCategory: 1\nLocation: University of Cyprus, Nicosia\n\n\nThe research laboratory of Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) of the Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus, announces one part time position:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Special Scientist (Video Editor and Animator and Graphic Designer): 114 hours</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nThe selected candidates will work as Video editor and animator on EU funded projects that the SEIT lab participates/coordinates: Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships, Erasmus+ Alliances and AAL projects.\n\n\nSEIT focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies. More information can be found in the SEIT Lab website: <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.cs.ucy.ac.cy/seit\" rel=\"no-follow\">www.cs.ucy.ac.cy/seit.</a>\n\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n\nThe candidates are expected to be highly-motivated individuals with proven capability to work in a demanding, multi-disciplinary research environment and eager to be actively engaged in the demanding activities of European projects, and collaborating efficiently with the SEIT research team.\n\n\nMinimum requirements include:\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Degree in Graphic and Digital Design or Interactive Media and Animation or related field.</li>\n<li>Expertise and experience in any of the following: Manipulate and edit film pieces; Input music, dialogues, graphics, animation and effects; Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running; Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.</li>\n<li>Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop).</li>\n<li>Very good knowledge of the English language.</li>\n<li>MSc and/or PhD will be considered as a plus.</li>\n</ol>\n\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\nThe successful candidates will work on video editing, animation and graphics related tasks for the projects that the SEIT Lab is involved.\n\n\nEMPLOYMENT TERMS\n\n\nThe position is on a contract basis of two months, subject to renewal (based on performance and availability of funding). The monthly gross salary is equal to €1131,42 - €1305,48 depending on qualifications. Employee contributions will be deducted from the above amount.
