Flexible working will be considered.\nContract type Permanent\nSalary Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £26,860 to £30,513 per annum\nApply by 27/11/2022\n\n\nRole Description\n\n\nWe welcome applications from experienced Procurement professionals to join the Procurement and Accounts Payable Team.\n\n\nAbout the Role\n\n\nAs a member of the overall Procurement Team, the role of the Procurement Delivery Lead is to act as a purchasing specialist and main point of contact in organising the purchasing activities of the School or PSU for which you are responsible. The job holder is responsible for ensuring efficient, economic and timely acquisition of goods and services while directly managing appropriate expenditure of University funds. \n\n\nAbout You\n\n\nYou will be educated to A level standard with a GCSE in both English and Maths at grade 6 or 7. It is essential that you have experience in a busy procurement office, delivering professional, efficient, and timely solutions to procurement requirements. Learn more about Cranfield and our unique impact <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/about/about\" rel=\"no-follow\">here</a>.\n\n\nThe Finance Professional Service Unit (PSU) role is to ensure that all financial data is processed correctly, timely and accurately to enable payments to be made and received while ensuring that all stakeholders, including CMDL, CIM, CIC, CEIL, CQSL, Cranfield Holdings and CITH are provided with required services in accordance with University Partnership Agreements.\n\n\nProcurement and Accounts Payable (A/P) are an integral part of the Finance PSU and hold responsibility for processing of purchasing requirements, management of requisitions, sourcing and ordering of goods and services, creation of purchase orders, expediting and managing delivery, ensuring correct receipting of goods.
