{"job":{"jobId":2461069,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":1838,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Event Organiser","description":"\n\nSchool/Department Cranfield Defence and Security\nBased at Shrivenham, Oxfordshire - Cranfield Defence and Security\nHours of work Full time 37 hours per week, normally worked Monday to Friday or Part time 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday inclusive or Tuesday to Friday inclusive Flexible working will be considered\nContract type Fixed term contract\nFixed Term Period Fixed Term Contract for 12 months\nSalary Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £26,860 to £30,513 per annum, pro rata with potential progression up to £37,701 per annum, pro rata\nApply by 17/11/2022\n\n\nRole Description\n\n\nAbout the Role\n\n\nYou will work with other Event Organisers in the team to plan, organise and administer conferences, symposia and workshops as requested.  Each team member is responsible for their own events, they are also expected to be a full and active member of the team, providing help and assistance when and where required within the remit of the unit function.  The symposia calendar is planned on a twelve-month rolling cycle.  You will be allocated and responsible for six to eight symposia each year and will typically be working on a minimum of three or four at any one time, each one at various points in the process.\n\n\nAbout You\n\n\nYou will have experience of working in an administrative, customer focused environment.  You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, by email, by telephone and in person.  The willingness and ability to travel and work within the UK with occasional overnight stays is essential.\n\n\nAbout Us\n\n\nAs a specialist postgraduate university, Cranfield’s world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships are creating leaders in technology and management globally.
