{"job":{"jobId":2461153,"fk_accountId":null,"fk_organizationId":518,"fk_adminAccountId":null,"title":"Education Support Officer","description":"\n\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to provide a broad range of education, administrative and operational support to academic and teaching staff within the Faculty of Medicine and Health's Clinical and Professional Development Unit</li>\n<li>Full time or Part time (21 hours) fixed term until the end of April 2023, based at either our Camperdown campus or Westmead campus</li>\n<li>A fantastic secondment opportunity with flexibility</li>\n<li>Base Salary $91,644 (FTE)+ 17% superannuation (pro rata if part time)</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nAbout the opportunity\n\n\nThe Faculty of Medicine and Health has been designed to enable innovation, excellence and strategic vision in teaching, research and clinical practice not only in medicine and health, but in all of the areas in which we operate.\n\n\nWe are focussed on leading new possibilities in the way we deliver wellness and healthcare and in making a distinctive impact on healthcare, both locally and globally.\n\n\nThe Faculty's Clinical and Professional Development team is responsible for the design, delivery, and promotion of clinical and professional education in healthcare and to identify and drive change in the delivery of professional education across the Faculty.\n\n\nThe Education Support Officer is a key role engaging with stakeholders and providing substantial day to day support to the education development and delivery of our services.\n\n\nYour key responsibilities will be to:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>coordinate the compilation of academic content and materials prepared by Academic and Teaching staff for programs of study, for printed publications and/or uploading to Canvas/online systems</li>\n<li>engage with teaching processes, including unit of study outline creations, assessments, examinations, plagiarism, special consideration, prizes and scholarships, results processing and student evaluation</li>\n<li>assist with organising intensive workshops for units of study</li>\n<li>provide support and training for new Academic/Sessional Teaching staff on using the University systems and the application of policies relevant to learning and teaching</li>\n<li>liaise with and establish effective working relationships with key staff to ensure that the work area's education support, learning and teaching priorities and needs are effectively met.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nAbout you\n\n\nThe University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
