If capable, the employee might also be involved in new research.\n\n\nThe responsibilities are as follows:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Update and manage a collection of Python optimization algorithms in GitHub repositories.</li>\n<li>Manage research financial accounts, including approving expenses, handling reimbursements and conducting period reviews to ensure all account entries are correct.</li>\n<li>Convert latex files to word using user friendly conversion software.</li>\n<li>Assist senior researchers with report writing, literature review or other research related projects;</li>\n<li>Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned  from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nJob Requirements\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A good Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.</li>\n<li>Strong Python programming skills.</li>\n<li>Proficient in using full suite of Microsoft Office apps.</li>\n<li>Good report writing and documentation skills.</li>\n<li>Able to multi-task and detail-oriented.</li>\n<li>Able to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n<li>Good  interpersonal and communication skills to contribute to a friendly and strongly research- oriented environment.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nPossess knowledge in following will be advantageous:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Basic accounting such as has taking accounting modules or relevant internship/working experience.</li>\n<li>Good understanding of Latex.</li>\n<li>Experience with managing GitHub repositories.</li>\n<li>Experience with optimization or operations research.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nCovid-19 Message\n\n\nAt NUS, the health and safety of our staff and students are one of our utmost priorities, and COVID-vaccination supports our commitment to ensure the safety of our community and to make NUS as safe and welcoming as possible.
