Both Full-time and Part-Time applications will be considered – these are hybrid roles with 2 days working on campus, with a starting salary of £33,314 to £36,386 (pro-rata).\n\n\nThe purpose of this role is to manage data relating to academic programmes within the University’s Student Records System, SITS. The post holder will be primarily responsible for ensuring that information about programmes of study are accurately captured, modelled and updated within the SITS environment.\n\n\nThey will also proactively ensure that information relating to students’ assessment patterns and module enrolment information is accurate and updated in a timely fashion. The post will sit within our Quality &amp; Standards team that comprises five quality standards managers, an administrator and the Head of Quality &amp; Academic Partnerships.\n\n\nThe post holder will work closely with CTESS colleagues and colleagues in Registry, Faculty Business Managers and other professional and academic departments to ensure the ongoing accuracy and completeness of curriculum data.\n\n\nJob Details\n\n\nThe successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree and/or have experience and knowledge of working with large and complex databases and IT systems, and experience of working in the Higher Education sector.\n\n\nExperience of using SITS or other (similar) student record systems will be essential for the role. You will be familiar with data entry into large and complex data management systems, and will have knowledge of data quality processes, including data validation and verification. Prior experience of quality assurance processes and principles in a higher education context would be desirable.\n\n\nYou will need excellent IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Access), and an ability to acquire and develop new IT skills quickly. You will be\n\n\nused to adhering to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and will be well-versed in checking quality of own work. You will need to have experience of producing data reports for senior colleagues, and will be comfortable working as part of a team in a busy office environment.\n\n\nIn addition, you will need to be a confident and effective communicator and able to organise your time and prioritise tasks in order to meet regular deadlines.
