Further information on the School can be found at <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.dur.ac.uk/business/\" rel=\"no-follow\">http://www.dur.ac.uk/business/</a>.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The purpose of the role of Senior Administrator (Quality Assurance & Accreditation) is to provide specialist support across a varied range of activities relating to the achievement of the Business School's strategic objectives in Education, including maintaining its triple global-accredited status and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality programmes; and to support the achievement of the School's strategic objectives in relation to Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability (ERS), including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). This includes providing support for a wide range of ERS-themed projects and events.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">To this end the post holder will have responsibility for implementing and monitoring policies and activities in support of the School's Strategic Framework in relation to Education and ERS, with particular emphasis on accreditation, and a wide range of quality assurance mechanisms required to maintain and enhance triple accredited status of the Business School. Symbolic of its international approach, the university welcomes over 4,500 international students from 156 countries worldwide.</p><p> </p><p>Durham University attracts around 17,500 students of all levels. Roughly 21 per cent of its student body are of non-UK origin, and with staff and students combined, around 150 countries and nationalities are represented.</p><p> </p><p>The university is made up of three faculties: arts and humanities, science and social science, and health. It comprises 16 colleges with 25 departments and schools that come together to offer over 200 undergraduate and 130 postgraduate courses, as well as research programmes.</p><p> </p><p>The Durham University estate is spread across two campuses and spans around 227 hectares of land. The estate is home to part of a UNESCO world heritage site (in recognition of Durham’s historical and architectural importance) and comprises several listed buildings,</p><p>The main campus is in the city of Durham, where 14 of the 16 colleges and most of the academic schools are located.
