Information about the Department can be obtained at <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.mech.hku.hk\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.mech.hku.hk</a>. \n\n\nWe now invite applications for the captioned post(s).\n\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>manage research projects on fabrication of semiconductor devices</li>\n<li>publish original research articles in high-impact journals</li>\n<li>secure external competitive grants, either working independently or with other team members</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>a Ph.D. degree in a discipline related to physics, electrical engineering or materials sciences.</li>\n<li>a strong track record of publishing high-quality research articles</li>\n<li>research experience in microelectronics fabrication, device characterizations or nanoelectronics.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n\nThe appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
