They are expected to be highly motivated and come up with independent lines of research enquiry.  Previous experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: a) developing and working with infectious clones, tissue culture or primary cell culture models, b) ability to work with infectious small animals, c) omic-science, or d) microbial bioinformatics as applied to clinical research.\n\n\nThe appointee will conduct research projects related to emerging agents of hepatitis (such as rat hepatitis E virus) under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth Sridhar in a world-leading clinical-translational emerging viral hepatitis research laboratory in a vibrant international city.
