They should demonstrate evidence of high-quality research as indicated by publication record; excellent project management skills; excellent command of written and spoken communication skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure; a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; good coordination and problem solving skills. \n\n\nThe appointee will work for the Jockey Club SMART Family-Link Project under the supervision of Professor Kelvin Wang, with the aim of promoting family well-being by leveraging ICT for innovative family services. He/She is expected to coordinate research design; perform advanced level of data analysis (quantitative and qualitative); oversee data collection and management; liaise with community parties and institutions to plan, develop and conduct community-based interventions and training programmes for local social service practitioner and professionals; and work closely with academic and research support staff in writing scientific publications and reports. The appointee will take up a leading role to oversee the research team.  He/She will also be responsible for developing interventions and training programmes to facilitate collection of big data; provide scientific and technical support to academic staff in the team; coordinate data analysis; and perform other duties as assigned.\n\n\nA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
