Working as part of our team you, will develop links with practice and industry to innovate in research-led teaching and create opportunities for our students to participate in live projects, engaging with the contemporary issues of architecture to deliver unique student experiences that maximise accessibility, enrich the profession and advance architectonic understanding and experimentation. \n\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Initiating and developing high quality subjects and related materials within curriculum framework of undergraduate and graduate programs.</li>\n<li>Actively initiating and participating in research projects, especially those that attract external research funding, and producing high quality research publications and other outputs.</li>\n<li>Building and fostering partnerships with industry, government, collaborators at other universities, and other stakeholders that contribute to the engagement of teaching and research with the wider community.</li>\n<li>Actively participating in leadership and service opportunities in the Faculty and beyond.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nWho We Are Looking For\n\n\nWe’re looking for people who demonstrate strong disciplinary knowledge, excellent communication and engagement skills, the ability to work collaboratively and engage positively with colleagues and stakeholders, and are highly motivated to educate the next generations of built environment professionals.\n\n\nYou will also have:\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A PhD or equivalent folio of research (which may include innovative and published design practice) and industry experience in an appropriate field, preferably architecture.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated teaching experience and skills appropriate for undergraduate and graduate content delivery.</li>\n<li>Research excellence commensurate with opportunity as demonstrated by a record of quality refereed research outputs and / or industry consulting or collaborations, with demonstrated capacity to lead research in an area which complements strengths already present in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\nFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.\n\n\nThis position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.\n\n\nWhat We Offer You!\n\n\nIn addition, we offer the opportunity to be part of a vibrant community and enjoy a range of benefits, including generous leave provisions, salary packaging, health and well-being services and discounts on graduate courses.
