Applications are now invited for the following post:\n\n\nProfessor/Associate Professor (specializing in Literature) \nDepartment of English \n(Post Ref.: 23/315)\n\n\nGeneral Requirements\n\n\nSuccessful candidates should have a relevant PhD and are required to provide evidence of teaching and research excellence in their areas of specialization. They should be able to contribute to the further development of the Literary Studies strand of our BA Contemporary English Studies programme (see <a data-mz=\"\" href=\"http://www.ln.edu.hk/eng/\" rel=\"no-follow\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.LN.edu.hk/eng/</a>), and be willing to take up postgraduate teaching and supervision.\n\n\nAn appointee at the level of Associate Professor is required to possess an excellent track record of scholarly publications and external grant projects, in addition to rich experience of teaching and course development. At the Professor level, an appointee should be established as an internationally prominent scholar in his/her field of specialization. Appointees at either level should demonstrate the potential to take on management and leadership roles within the department.\n\n\nLingnan University is fully committed to the pursuit of excellence in both research and teaching. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
