In contributing to delivery of the MOD Academic Provided Contract the Group has a significant input to the Explosives Ordnance Engineering Course (EOE), the Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO) and the Ammunition Technicians Course (AT).</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>You will:</strong></p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver and develop MOD environmental and safety management courses, including a hazardous materials course, to the specifications of the course sponsor. </li>\n<li>Deliver education at MSc level on the Explosives Ordnance and Engineering MSc.</li>\n<li>Support MSc Level project students in explosives in the environment, which includes impact to land, air and water.</li>\n<li>Help grow the research output of the Environmental Sciences Team to enable publication of peer-reviewed papers, and successful research grant applications.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\"><strong>About You</strong></p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">You will have an environmental / safety / engineering science or chemistry PhD with a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice or willing to study towards PGCAP qualification and FHEA. You will have experience of presenting / teaching technical subjects at A-level or above. Laboratory experience and a track record of high-quality research publications is essential. A strong background in environmental science / engineering and knowledge of environmental and safety management is required.
