There is one full time post available. The Department of Law and Criminology is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences, alongside the Departments of Economics and Politics, International Relations and Philosophy. We are forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active. We offer undergraduate programmes in Law, Criminology & Psychology, Criminology & Sociology and Social Science, together with Masters programmes in Forensic Psychology, Consumption, Culture & Marketing, Social Work, and Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism Studies. We are also home to an energetic postgraduate research student community.</p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">We seek an outstanding HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This position will be professional practice focussed which means that you will use your practice experience to inform teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates and research, develop networks with external organisations, engage in professional practice, develop research and demonstrate leadership. The role will suit a forensic psychologist looking for an opportunity to expand their career into academia (e.g. Lecturer role), as well as a forensic psychologist with an established track record of research, external engagement or leadership (e.g. Senior Lecturer role). </p>\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; font-family: san-serif;\">The position will require the teaching of undergraduate joint honours Criminology and Psychology and MSc Forensic Psychology students and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate projects. We are also keen to develop our teaching portfolio and the ability to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the supervision of doctoral students, and the development of specialist options to reflect specific areas of expertise is sought. Applicants should possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively.
