We are pioneers in developing effective interactions with global business, industry and the public and voluntary sectors. \n\n\nTo further align School academic leadership structures to the strategy, the University is implementing a new and enhanced framework for academic leadership structures, including making significant investment in a range of new leadership positions. \n\n\nHead of Division - Computing\n\n\nThe School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences is looking for a senior academic to be the Head of Division for Computing. The Division is expected to develop high-quality, research-inspired teaching that supports the portfolio of programmes delivered by the School. The Head of Division will join the School’s Leadership Team, helping to define and deliver the School’s strategy and vision, centred around AI and Sustainable Technologies.\n\n\nThe Head of Division will be responsible for expanding the teaching opportunities across the Computing Division with a specific focus on expanding our work-based learning portfolio. The Head of Division will have a track record of delivery, leadership and continuous improvement in learning and teaching and will be jointly responsible, as part of the School’s leadership team, for the development and delivery of the School’s vibrant portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate, work-based learning and CPD courses.\n\n\nThe Head of Division will work as part of the School’s Leadership Team to develop cross-School and cross-Divisional research. They will already have a well-developed track record in research.
